Bubblews - My Online Sanctuary (CLOSED)

I stumbled upon one of a blogpost that listed of a scam-free website that you can swag some cash. Bubblews caught my attention and I instantly join the site. 

My first account was flagged as a spam for just 2 days. I know! It is my fault! I just ticked the term and conditions and don't bothered to read the rules and regulations. Charged it to experience. Luckily, they accepted me back. 

On my second account under @WillOfAbbey, I read and reread all the things that I must learn. I am back with more cautious postings. I created connections and relationships with other "Bubblers". They always help and guide me. 

One of my key goal beside earning some cash is to be "featured". My deadline for me to attain that is before my first anniversary. But hey! I was awarded before I hit my first month. I am on a cloud nine when I saw that "FEATURED" letters pasted below my post.

Dolly Wink: Guinness World Record "Most Number of People Applying False Eyelashes!" Event

In celebrating Dolly Wink’s 5^th year anniversary in business of beautifying the girls around the globe, they go for an extra mile to get it more memorable... They were there to break a Guinness World Record in Most People Applying False Eyelashes.

The invitation spread like a virus and most of the bloggers get to know about this event. I will confess I want to help Dolly Wink to grab the new record; this is for saying my thanks to them for great eyelashes and for all the events they held for the bloggers like me. Dolly Wink gave back by donating also at Breast Cancer Foundation by purchasing a pink ribbon for every registrant and they will donate a $2 for every selected Dolly Wink product that will be sold in 50 Watson’s branches island wide.

Let’s go and discuss this great experience. Well, this is my first time to participate in a World Guinness Book of Records. One of my mom/blogger-friend told me that I can slashed-out one item off my bucket list, good point right?! This event was held at Scape The Ground Theatre. They have the policy “once in, never out” that even an urgent thing to go to washroom is not an excuse.

We went in and about 30 minutes the program started. I was shocked that in front of the stage there is a boy participating in putting fake eyelashes. Well he is not the only one, I think there were also 3 more boys on the floor doing the same thing. Aren’t they cute? Haha!

There was a practice session and on first attempt I got it right but on actual and for the Guinness World Record, I got giddy and nervous and sought for assistance. Haha! When I saw the lashes on me, my colleague told me that they were really nice on my eyes. Haha! After Ms Fortuna confirmed all the participants, she handed the plaque to the President of the Dolly Wink. Champagne popped and the party confetti were all over the place.

Why I Bid Goodbye in Purchasing Belle de Jour Power Planner or Acquiring a Free Starbucks Planner

I am a great great fan of planners ever since I set my foot in the corporate world. From that time my boss gave me a Guess planner, I am really hooked up to the help it gave me for my day-to-day life.

Am I addicted to always have this kind of notebook? Yes! I feel so incomplete if I do not have a planner. I can't live without it but mid-year of 2013, I decided to shake off that feeling of emptiness and left my 2013 BDJ planner at home.  

Here are the reasons why I do not buy any planners from now on:
1. I realized that the Starbucks or coffee cafe free planner really costs me a lot of money, yes it is free but for me who is not fan of their coffees, it will take me about a thousand pesos to have that for free.

2. BDJ Planners is a very cute planner and a lot of vouchers inside. I saw the 2013 issue and I am really disappointed. Dati sa Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Ace Water Spa bawi mo na yung almost Php600.00 mo. Ngayon, di na ganun kaganda and valuable ang mga vouchers inside. 

3. Planners are so heavy inside my bag, taking it out made a big difference on the weight. Now, I just use the S Note for my doodles or save the links I need to remember in my phone.

4. The ultimate "why" I bid goodbye ay, now that I am already married, its my duty to let my husband know my schedules and vise versa. So instead to buy a pocket planner for him, I went back to my college days where I do not have money to buy those planner and yet need to have an organise myself to finish all my projects before the target date.
From June 2013, we use my own version of calendar. I usually use recycled paper  then use excel to create a table. No fuss, just spend for a small amount of ink in the printer and tadahhhhh! Two persons, in one piece of paper, can see all the events. We can give way to each other and not compromise any schedules.

Maybe this will help the couples out there. 

Oh, this is just above our light switch so we can see all the must-to-do before facing a new day!. :) 

Paulo Lapuz Design

Do you need logo for your blog, company, wedding or birthday?Do you need people who will design your articles in magazines or newspapers?

Well many of our readers astounded when we decided to create a facebook page for our blogs, they are not shocked by the idea of creating a fb page but the logo I posted as a display photo.

As they were really happy to see the new logo as Abbey and I called it, inquiries also poured in. Maybe they are thinking that me or hubby designed it, haha. Well they are all wrong, we both do not have an imaginative mind to think about that and also we do not have an artistic hand to portray it.

It was designed by Paulo of Paulo Lapuz Design. He is one of Abbey's cousin based in Long Beach, CA. Some people asked how much we pay him, well he crafted this logo for us free.

Please do send this kind guy an email at paulo@paulolapuzdesign.com. Hmm, maybe he can give also free service. Haha!

I am a great lover of pizza. One month will never pass that I won't eat a delicious dough with different toppings and oozing with melted cheese.

I am a follower of Yvonne and a subscriber too, and of course I know every posts she have. Oh, when I saw her post regarding the launch of Domino's Singapore iPhone app, my heart really frozen with envy. I really wish I am also there, experiencing the Singapore Flyer's flight while indulging at my slice of pizza. Haha.

I  downloaded the app and in an instant we connected their Kovan branch.

Our Great Stalkers

Well, when you say stalker it really denotes a negative impact to all who hears, read and see those word. But for me, haha, I like being stalked, it means there is something in my life that is interesting for them. Hehe. In this post I will thank them not for stalking but for following and reading our blogs.

Summer Sunshine by April Mae

Summer Sunshine Blog??? Why question marks? I am just thinking how I managed to find this blog and befriend the amazing woman behind this. Hmmmm. I think through ate Abigail, hayyyy, amnesia strikes again. Haha. But anyway, when I saw her blog for the first time, I am was so inspired to get my own and shout all through blogspot all the things running in my head.

Thank you ate April for such a wonderful award you have given to me and my husband! :) We are very flattered to be in number two spot. May nagbabasa pala ng mga kalokohan at mali-mali naming grammar/spelling na mga posts!
